2011 President's Message

This is an exciting year for New Mexico Healthcare Human Resources Association as is every year and I am tremendously honored to be President for 2011.  Four meetings are planned this year and we hope to bring outstanding speakers and information while we keep the low membership costs to our members.

Goals set last year were met by the Leadership of Cheryl Ebner and we will strive to meet these goals this year:

  •  Achieve a Chapter Management Award.
  •  Develop chapter meeting programs that continues to foster expertise in the field of Healthcare HR.
  •  Increase visibility and involvement of NMHHRA by increasing our membership.
  •  With so many people in need , one of the goals we can achieve is to reach out to our community through some form of giving; to achieve this goal we need you…this is true of any goal NMHHRA meets…your participation in our committees is what will make our New Mexico Chapter grow and be successful.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns or suggestions to help this organization continue to support you in the healthcare human resources field.  I thank you for this opportunity and look forward to everyone’s participation. Your voices will be heard.

2010 President's Message

This is an exciting year for New Mexico Healthcare Human Resources Association and I am tremendously honored to be President for 2010.  We are focused on bringing you valuable information with a new Executive Board of Directors made up of dedicated human resources professionals. One of the best changes you will see this year is the change in meeting location.  Our meetings will now be held at Embassy Suites on (insert address).  The new location was chosen because it is a nicer hotel, good parking and centrally located to attend meetings.  Four meetings are planned this year and we hope to bring outstanding speakers and information while we keep the low membership costs. Goals set last year were met by the Leadership of Cindy Paulsen and we will strive to meet these goals this year:

v  Achieve a One Star Chapter Management Award

v  Develop chapter meeting programs that continue to foster expertise in the field of Healthcare HR.

v  Increase attendance at Chapter meetings by 10% compared to 2009 overall attendance.

v  Increase visibility and involvement of NMHHRA Committees in chapter activities.

v  Complete requirements for Four Star Chapter Management Award for 2009.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns or suggestions to help this organization continue to support you in the healthcare human resources field.  I thank you for this opportunity and look forward to everyone’s participation. Your voices will be heard.

Cheryl Ebner, MBA, PHR, NMHHRA President 2010
