Mr. Hillard joined The Segal Company’s National Communications Practice in 2001 and currently serves as the West Region Practice Leader. Mr. Hillard is responsible for development, design, and implementation of communications strategies and initiatives for Segal clients in Atlanta, Denver, Chicago, Phoenix, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles.
Going "Social" with Your Employee Communications
Social media applications have changed the ways in which people interact and stay connected. Employees are using these applications at home…and at work. Indeed, most organizations are considering the various ways they can leverage the technology to reach their workforce. This presentation will help attendees learn how social media are being used in organizational settings. We will discuss and demonstrate specific ways in which social media can be used to support change initiatives and employee programs. We will also explore the cultural, policy and implementation considerations involved in adding social media as an internal communications channel.
